AACPS Makes Weather Call For Monday, Feb. 11

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — There will be a delayed opening for public schools on Monday, according to Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Officials made the decision Monday morning.

Public schools will open two hours late in Anne Arundel County on Monday, Feb. 11, officials said.

The following are canceled on Monday: morning prekindergarten, ECI classes and morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South.

Full-day prekindergarten is still on, and students should report two hours later than they usually do.

Anne Arundel County is under a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Monday for sleet and freezing rain. Drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions.
