AAUW Seeks Applicants for 2020-2021 Scholarships

The Anne Arundel County Branch of the American Association of University Women is pleased to announce two scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year as part of its mission to promote education and equality for women.

The Transfer Scholarship is a one-year financial award given to Anne Arundel County women who have attended Anne Arundel Community College and are transferring to or continuing at an accredited four-year institution of higher learning. Applicants must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher and present evidence of financial need.

The Women to Women Scholarship is a one-year financial award for Anne Arundel County women pursuing further education. Women who are adding to their current skills or returning to the workforce as well as high school students entering college are eligible. Applicants must explain their career goals and demonstrate financial need.

The deadline for the Women to Women Scholarship is March 11, 2020, and for the Transfer Scholarship, April 7, 2020.
