Anne Arundel Schools Designates April 28 As Instructional Day
The school board did not take action on any other part of the calendar, including the last day of school for students.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — At its April meeting, the education board amended the 2019-2020 school year calendar to convert Tuesday, April 28, to an instructional day as a result of the movement of the primary election from that day to June 2. The day will be a B day for middle schools and high schools.
The board did not take action on any other part of the calendar, including the last day of school for students. No AACPS buildings will be needed as polling places for the June 2 election. State Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen Salmon has not yet announced the status of schools past April 24.
