It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. In conjunction with the Food Drive we are going to have several local Police agencies recruiters join as at our location to discuss potential job opportunities. As of 5/15, Annapolis City PD and Anne Arundel County PD will be onsite.

Please join us as we honor our fallen military service members during the Memorial Day commemoration ceremony at Crownsville State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.&nbsp; Crownsville Veterans Cemetery is located at 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032.The featured guest speaker for the ceremony will be Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Moore, garrison command sergeant major at Fort Meade, MD.&nbsp; Patriotic music will be performed by The Maryland Defense Force Band.&nbsp; Refreshments after the program will be provided by American Legion Post #7 located at 1905 Crownsville Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401.
