Memorial Day Parades, Events Being Held This Weekend
Memorial Day will bring parades and a carnival to the county. Here are a few events happening this weekend.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — This weekend, several Memorial Day events will be held across the county in honor of service members who lost their lives in service to their country.
One of the events that kicked off on Tuesday — the annual carnival held by the Odenton Volunteer Fire Department — runs through the entire weekend.
From rides to games that provide fun for the whole family, the carnival is being held at 1425 Annapolis Road.

The carnival opens at 6 p.m. through Friday and at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Interested eventgoers can gain entry starting at 4 p.m. Entrance is free.
While the county's big parade in Annapolis isn't until Monday, a bike parade — plus a pool party — will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Odenton.

The event is being held at 1435 Two Rivers Blvd. by The Hamlet's Clubhouse at Two Rivers.
