Bradley Myers Joins Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Board

Junior Achievement of Central Maryland has appointed Bradley Myers to a three-year term on its board of directors.

As vice president for business banking at SunTrust Bank in Ellicott City, Myers manages SunTrust’s business relationships for Howard County.  The 10-year banking industry veteran previously served as a vice president for Bank of America and an account executive for First United Bank & Trust.

“Teaching children fiscal responsibility at an early age is incredibly important,” said Myers. “If young people learn about credit, budgeting and saving, we can create stronger communities that will benefit the future of Maryland.”

“I also believe that the Junior Achievement programs will help fuel an entrepreneurial spark within school-aged children, which will help to create a strong business climate in Maryland for years to come,” added Myers, who also chairs JA’s Howard County Board of Advisors.

Named one of Howard County’s Finest 39 under 39, Myers is chair elect for the Young Professionals Network of Howard County, a member of the grant review committee for the Community Foundation of Howard County, and membership chair of the Columbia Patuxent Rotary Club. He lives in Hanover, Md., with his wife, Brandy, and son, Harrison.
