Established in 2018, the Community Crisis Response Fund allows CFAAC to react quickly and efficiently to unforeseen needs in the community during times of crisis. “Whenever there is a crisis in our county, our local nonprofits mobilize quickly to meet the increased needs of our community, often in spite of their own operational challenges,” said Mary Spencer, President & CEO of the CFAAC. “Now more than ever we are grateful for the generosity of local businesses, foundations, and the hundreds of individual donors who are contributing to our Community Crisis Response Fund. As we move forward in continuing to support basic human needs and address expanding financial strains, these important donations help us provide much needed assistance to organizations during these incredibly difficult times for residents in Anne Arundel County.”
While our healthcare systems, public health practitioners, and local government are doing everything in their power to slow the spread of coronavirus, our local nonprofits are assisting those most vulnerable. CFAAC is committed to helping the community and it will continue to provide support to local nonprofits serving on the front lines of this crisis.
