Charges Pending After Cement Truck Crashes In Pasadena: Police
Charges are pending against a Pasadena driver who was likely going too fast when his cement truck overturned, police say.
PASADENA, MD — Charges are pending against a Pasadena man who was driving a cement mixing truck that overturned Thursday afternoon on Forest Drive near West Drive in Pasadena. Investigators say the truck was northbound on Forest Drive when it overturned going around a curve in the roadway.
The driver — Thomas George Buettner, 64, of the 8300 block of Fairwood Drive — had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.
Anne Arundel County Police say the preliminary cause of the accident appears to be excessive speed, but the investigation is ongoing. At this time charges are pending.
