Crash Kills 94-Year-Old Pasadena Man, Hospitalizes Woman, 90
A 94-year-old man died in car crash in Pasadena Wednesday afternoon. The collision hospitalized his passenger, 90, and another traveler, 60.

PASADENA, MD — A crash in Pasadena killed an older man Wednesday afternoon. Police say the man, Richard Cole Jones, was 94. The accident hospitalized two other people, including the man's 90-year-old female passenger, with serious injuries.
The collision happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Edwin Raynor Boulevard and Maryland Route 100. A pickup truck was heading north on Edwin Raynor when Jones' sedan emerged from the eastbound exit ramp of Route 100.
Jones crossed the path of the incoming 2009 Ford F-150 with his 2003 Honda Accord. A police report says the cause of the crash appears to be Jones' failure to yield to the truck. Speed does not seem to be a factor, police say.
