Man Robs Pasadena 7-Eleven With Screwdriver, Arrest Made: Police
A 7-Eleven on Fort Smallwood Road was robbed early Sunday morning. The suspect threatened the cashier with a screwdriver, police say.

PASADENA, MD — Police arrested a man accused of robbing a Pasadena 7-Eleven early Sunday morning. The theft happened around 1 a.m. at the 8930 Fort Smallwood Road location.
The male suspect entered the store wearing a black mask. It's not clear whether the mask was an identity concealer or a coronavirus preventer. The man pressed a screwdriver against the clerk's back and demanded cash from the register, according to a police report.
The cashier complied and gave the man an unknown amount of money. The burglar fled, and police could not find him.

The suspect returned to the store on Thursday around 3:15 a.m, police say. The same clerk recognized the man and told police.
Soon after, police found the accused man walking along Hog Neck Road. He tried to run away when police approached him, but he was unsuccessful.

Police arrested the fleeing man, Frank William Helsel, and charged him with the robbery. Grimes, 42, lives in Pasadena. His case does not yet show in the court system, so his first court date and bail information are not immediately available.
