Easton Applebee's Contributes to 500-Foot Traveling Holiday Scroll for Veteran's Day

Guests invited to sign scroll to be sent overseas to active servicemen and women for the holidays

Easton Applebee’s will celebrate Veteran’s Day by sending well wishes overseas to our active servicemen and women in the form of a 500-foot long traveling scroll.

Part of a series of Holiday scrolls produced by local Applebee’s guest, George Jackson, the scroll is anticipated to hold the signatures, drawings, poems, and well-wishes of hundreds of people from the D.C., Baltimore and Ocean City area. Jackson, a veteran of the Marine Corp., has dedicated the last 20 years to collecting the well-wishes of local residents and sending them to various branches of the military.

On Veteran’s Day from 1 to 5 p.m. Jackson and Applebee’s invites its guests and neighbors to stop by 8999 Ocean Gateway and celebrate Veteran’s Day by contributing to Jackson’s scrolls. For more information, check out the Easton Applebee’s Facebook page.
