Fire Causes $200K In Damage, Displaces 2 In Anne Arundel: Report
Officials said a Monday fire caused $200,000 in damage to an Anne Arundel County home. Both residents were displaced, a report added.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Officials said a blaze caused $200,000 in damage to a Pasadena home early Monday morning. The fire displaced both of the house's residents, an incident report added. The duo will stay with family while their home is repaired.
A neighbor called 911 around 3:27 a.m. to report the fire. The caller indicated that the smoke detectors went off, but the report noted that the occupants woke up and escaped before they sounded.
Firefighters said they found flames engulfing the front of the one-story, single-family home, located in the 1900 block of Betty Lane. A 33-person crew extinguished most of the fire in about 15 minutes, and the scene was under control within another quarter-hour, the write-up clarified.
