Hearing, Vision Screenings Conducted At AACPS In November
Hearing and vision screenings will be carried out at numerous schools in Anne Arundel County in November.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Vision and hearing technicians with the county health department, along with school nurses, will be conducting mandatory vision and hearing screenings for students in preschool, kindergarten, first and eighth grade, and for students new to Anne Arundel County schools. Special education students receiving speech therapy may also be recommended for screening. Children who wear glasses should bring them to school on the day of the screening.
