Hospice of the Chesapeake launches patient referral app

IRefer application allows for secure, on-the-go referrals

Hospice of the Chesapeake is excited to announce the launch of its new referral application. The free IRefer application allows physicians, hospitals and the community to easily and confidentially make a secure hospice referral directly from their iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Primarily intended for physicians who would prefer to use their mobile device to send a referral rather than a phone call or fax, it also is available to anyone to use and make a referral or to gather information about Hospice of the Chesapeake. The app includes a referral form, an FAQ section, photos and videos that provide information regarding Hospice of the Chesapeake and a section that explains Hospice services and eligibility. All information received through the referral form complies with and will be processed according to HIPAA regulations.

The application is available for download now at the Google Play store or iTunes. Just type in “Hospice of the Chesapeake” and download.
