Man Chases Teenagers With Knife In Anne Arundel County: Police

A man chased a group of teenagers with a knife in Anne Arundel County, police said. Officers reported that they arrested the suspect.

FERNDALE, MD — Police said an adult chased three teenagers with a knife in Ferndale on Sunday. The victims escaped unharmed and officers found the suspect, an incident report clarified.

The write-up noted that the chase started after an argument. The victims told police that the suspect took out a pocket knife during the disagreement, held it above his head and charged after the trio, the press release informed. Officers reported that the man slashed downward at one of the teenagers with the knife.

Police added that the encounter started around 2:50 p.m. near Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Ferndale Road. Officers mentioned that they spotted the suspect soon after at the corner of North Broadview Boulevard and Hollins Ferry Road.
