Maryland Paranormal Research ® creates pathfinding experiments

Information release on the Maryland Paranormal Research ® crowdsourcing campaign on Patreon

Maryland Paranormal Research ® conducts explorations of paranormal phenomena through science, technology and parapsychology. This campaign will support rigorous and creative lines of psi and survival research with emphasis on ghosts, poltergeists and hauntings.

In the field, research programs are mainly focused on electronic voice phenomena obtained from signal conditioning and natural language processing technologies. This is complemented by continuous measurement of environmental conditions from data acquisition sensors and of psi-functioning via a random event generator.

Off the field, our work involves applications of machine learning to case collections and surveys. This work mainly employs topic discovery models to explore semantic contexts or relationships that characterize varieties of paranormal experiences.

Our research, discovery and exploration efforts to demonstrate psi effects consider the core components of trans-communication to include consciousness, capacities and communications.

Modern-day technologies will help normalize trans-communication processes. We developed the Maryland TransCommunication Experiment, combining signal conditioning, natural language processing and a probabilistic framework for evidence of communication.

With donor support, our research aims to make significant contributions to survival research and to revitalize academic interest in electronic voice phenomena. We maintain our archives and knowledge base on the tumblr platform at blog.maryland-paranormal.com.
