NACAC Hosts 21st Annual Scholarship and Awards Prayer Breakfast

The North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter (NACAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated will be hosting their 21st Annual Scholarship and Awards Prayer Breakfast, which will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport, 1739 West Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. Our theme this year is “Order My Steps – Moving Forward” as a charge to our awardees to continue in their academic and local achievements, milestones and accomplishments in their lives and in our community.

NACAC will highlight and honor deserving young women and men who are high school seniors and first-year college students, residing in Anne Arundel County. We will also recognize the educational goals of working women by awarding our Second Chance Scholarship to promote and encourage the pursuit of higher education. Lastly, NACAC will recognize the accomplishments of an outstanding woman leader in Anne Arundel County through the presentation of our Dr. Thelma T. Daley Pearl Award, named after Delta’s 16th National President. Adult tickets (age 13 and over) are $40.00 and children tickets (age 5 – 12) are $25.00. Children under the age of 5 are free.
