Pasadena Man Robbed, Threatened With Machete And Handgun: Police
A Pasadena man was threatened with a machete and robbed after he let another man inside his home while he was renovating, police said.
PASADENA, MD — A man working on his home in Pasadena was robbed Monday after an unidentified individual asked to see the inside of his house, Anne Arundel County Police said Tuesday.
Officers arrived at the 300 block of Caldwell Road at about 3:50 p.m. after receiving reports of an armed robbery. Once on scene, police determined the homeowner led the man into his basement, where he was threatened with a machete and a handgun.
Both a phone and a bank card were stolen from the homeowner, who was punched before the suspect fled the scene in a black car. The 45-year-old man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they believe the attack was targeted, and not a random act of violence.
Officials described the suspect as a large Hispanic man who was wearing a green sweatshirt.
