Pasadena's Daria Breslin to dance in The Nutcracker

The Maryland Festival Ballet and the Edna Lee Dance Studio will be staging their 10th annual production of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Four performances will be presented at Chesapeake High School on Friday December 12 at 7 pm, Saturday December 13 at 3 pm and 7 pm, and Sunday December 14 at 3 pm.

The first two performances, December 12 at 3 pm and December 13 at 3 pm, will feature Daria Breslin in the lead role of Clara. Daria has been cast in four additional roles for the Saturday evening and Sunday matinee performances. She is thrilled to be sharing the stage with internationally-renowned professional guest artists Ashley Canterna Hardy, Adrienne Canterna, Robbie Nicholson and other members of “Bad Boys of Ballet,” who were featured on America’s Got Talent this past summer. Savanna Mitchell of Catonsville will portray Clara in the Saturday evening and Sunday performances.
