Power Outage Closes 3 Schools

A power outage from a damaged utility pole has canceled classes at three schools on the Pasadena Peninsula.

PASADENA, MD — A damaged BGE utility pole that has cut power to part of the Pasadena Peninsula has forced Anne Arundel County Public Schools to cancel classes at three schools. Officials say Bodkin Elementary School, Chesapeake Bay Middle School, and Chesapeake High School in the Pasadena area will be closed for students and staff Wednesday, Nov. 1.

All other county schools will operate on normal schedules.
