Public Service Announcement: School Bus Safety in Anne Arundel County
County Executive Steve Schuh and Anne Arundel School Superintendent George Arlotto released a public service announcement on bus safety.

From the Anne Arundel County Executive Office:
Students from across Anne Arundel County return school in August. County Executive Steve Schuh and Anne Arundel County Public School Superintendent George Arlotto released a public service announcement to help educate citizens about their responsibility as they encounter school buses on the road this school year.
“When you are out on the roads, please look out for school buses. Take extra caution to stop when you see the blinking lights,” Schuh says in the opening of the announcement.

“We have nearly 60,000 students who get to and from schools all over the county by school bus,” Arlotto continues. “That’s a lot of children walking along sidewalks and across streets to get to bus stops. We need you to be aware of those children, and of the laws regarding school buses.”
The PSA will run on county television and will be featured on county and school system social media.
