School Vision, Hearing Screening Dates In May
Schedule of preschool, kindergarten, first and eighth grade, screenings in Anne Arundel County schools.
From Anne Arundel County Department of Health: Anne Arundel County Department of Health vision and hearing technicians and school nurses conduct mandated vision and hearing screenings in public schools for children in preschool, kindergarten, first and eighth grade, and for students new to Anne Arundel County schools. Special education students receiving speech therapy may also be recommended for screening.
Department of Health vision and hearing technicians also administer vision and hearing screenings at private schools, nurseries and day care programs to ensure that the appropriate children are screened.
Children who wear glasses should bring them to school on the day of the screening.

- May 2 and 3 Four Seasons Elementary
- May 4 Brooklyn Park Elementary
- May 7 Naval Academy Primary School
- May 9 and 10 Richard Henry Lee Elementary
- May 10 and 11 Faith Baptist Child Development Center
- May 14 Manor View Elementary
- May 15 and 16 Hillsmere Elementary
- May 17 and 18 Walter S. Mills-Parole Elementary
- May 22 and 23 Southgate Elementary
- May 23 and 24 Crofton Woods Elementary
- May 29 and 30 Piney Orchard Elementary
- May 30 Monarch Academy Annapolis
- May 31 and June 1 Marley Elementary
