Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. The Natural Resources Police told CBS Baltimore that crews were alerted to the Anne Arundel County case shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday. ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The search for a man who never resurfaced after jumping from a pontoon boat into the Rock Creek tributary has shifted into a recovery operation, according to reports.

The Natural Resources Police told CBS Baltimore that crews were alerted to the Anne Arundel County case shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday. Several agencies from around the region joined in to conduct searches between Riviera Beach and Fort Smallwood.
