SNOW CLOSURES: Federal Government Offices, Anne Arundel Schools Closed

Schools: Anne Arundel County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday. School offices will be closed as well, and employees are on code red.
College: Anne Arundel Community College is closed on Thursday.
State offices: All Maryland state offices and facilities will be closed beginning at midnight on Feb. 12 through the end of the day shift on Feb. 13. Emergency essential personnel should report as scheduled.
Federal offices: All federal offices in the Washington, D.C., area are closed on Thursday. Emergency and telework-ready employees required to work must follow their agencies' policies.
Annapolis government: City of Annapolis offices will open at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Liberal leave is in effect.
Annapolis parking: City parking garages opened at 6 p.m. Wednesday to allow citizens to get their vehicles off the roads during the storm, and will remain open until at least 6 p.m. Thursday. Snow vouchers are available with proof of residency.
Anne Arundel budget town hall: County Executive Laura Neuman's town hall meeting on the budget process scheduled for Feb. 13 at Lake Shore Elementary School will be rescheduled. The new date is to be determined.
Cheerleading: The state cheerleading championships scheduled to be held at North County High School on Thursday have been postponed.
Dance festival: The Anne Arundel County Dance Festival performance scheduled for Feb. 13 at North County High School has been moved to Feb. 20.
