Walk and 5k Run for Life Helps Women and Local Families Receive Compassionate Help and Hope

A 5k Trail Run, a one mile Family Fun Walk, a Toddler Trot and Kids Dash will be held at the historic Belvoir Scott Plantation in Crownsville. The event will raise funds and awareness to support the free services for women and their families offered by the Pregnancy Clinics in Annapolis, Severna Park and Bowie.

Registration for the 5K trail run is $45 for runners. Each runner will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Awards will be given for male and female, adult and youth age categories. There is no cost to walk, however both walkers and runners collect financial pledges from sponsors which supports the essential funding needed for the Clinic’s totally free services. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers. Individuals, families, strollers, as well as pets on leashes are all welcome to join in making a positive life affirming difference in our communities.

Since opening in 1982, the faith based, 501(c)3, non-profit medical clinics have served over 30,000 women and their families, facing pregnancy related and sexual health issues. The extensive free services offered include: pregnancy testing, prenatal vitamins, viability 3D/4D Ultrasounds, STD/HIV testing and treatment for women, educational classes, counseling, material aid, and referrals for community resources. The Pregnancy Clinic accepts no federal or state funding and is entirely supported by donations from individuals, businesses, foundations, and churches.
