• Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department to host a community remembrance on 25th anniversary of September 11th (wmar2news.com) — Arbutus residents are invited to a free 9/11 remembrance hosted by the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at East Drive and Sulphur Spring Road. Organizers hope 343 community members will each carry a flag during the Honor Walk, followed by a candlelight vigil, guest speakers with personal 9/11 connections, and twin beams of light concluding the ceremony at 8:30 p.m.
