1 Dead, 5 Injured In West Baltimore Mass Shooting: Police

A 15-year-old boy was among those injured in the shooting that happened shortly after midnight Thursday, police said.

BALTIMORE, MD — A man died and five others were injured in an overnight shooting in West Baltimore, according to police.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight Thursday in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue, Baltimore police said in a news release. When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy, a 24-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, a 22-year-old male man an unidentified adult man all suffering from gunshot wounds.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The other victims were taken to local hospitals, according to police. The 24-year-old man is in critical condition, while the others are listed in stable condition, police said.
