10-Year-Old Shot, Man Killed In Overnight Violence: Baltimore Police

The child was sitting in the back of his parent's vehicle when he was shot in the leg, according to police.

BALTIMORE, MD — A 10-year-old boy was shot overnight while sitting in the back of his parent’s vehicle, according to police, who also reported a man was killed in a separate shooting.

Police found the child and a 32-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds about 1 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of North Glover Street, according to authorities. The two were injured by unknown assailants, police said, adding the woman was in critical but stable condition while the boy, who was hit in the leg, was stable.

In a separate shooting, one man was killed and two others were injured shortly after midnight in the 1900 block of North Collington Avenue, according to police. The victims, who all suffered multiple gunshot wounds, included a 17-year-old boy, a 38-year-old man, and an unidentified man, who was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
