16 Hospitalized After Stolen Car Crashes Into MTA Bus: Baltimore Police
Four suspected juveniles in a stolen vehicle and 12 others were hospitalized after a crash involving an MTA bus, police said.
BALTIMORE, MD — Sixteen people were hospitalized Wednesday after a stolen vehicle fleeing Baltimore police crashed into an MTA bus, according to authorities.
Baltimore police said four people believed to be juveniles were inside the stolen car and suffered multiple injuries, police said. Twelve other people were also taken to hospitals. The injuries of those on board the bus were considered non-life-threatening.
The crash occurred shortly before 12:50 p.m. at the intersection of East Oliver and North Wolfe streets.

Police said Eastern District officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled. Officers then requested assistance from the department's helicopter before the vehicle crashed into the bus.
Police did not release information about the severity of the four juveniles' injuries or say whether anyone had been charged.
