$1M Powerball Ticket Unclaimed In Maryland

A winning Powerball ticket sold in Hagerstown in February is worth $1 million. It hasn't been claimed yet, do you have it?

BALTIMORE, MD — Maryland Lottery players purchased two $1 million-winning tickets within a few days of one another in late February. One of those prizes has been claimed, but Lottery officials are still waiting for the second winner to come forward.

A Powerball player won $1 million on a ticket purchased for the Feb. 20 drawing at Dual Highway BP in Hagerstown. The ticket matched the first five winning numbers, — 27, 49, 50, 51 and 52 — but did not match the Powerball number, which was 2. The winner has 182 days from the drawing date to claim the prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, officials said in a news release.

A day earlier, a construction worker purchased a Mega Millions ticket in Rockville that was a $1 million winner. The lucky player dubbed himself the “Rockville Roller” as he claimed his prize on Feb. 27.
