2-Alarm Fire In Fells Point: Dozens Escaped, Officials Say
Firefighters handled an early morning blaze in Fells Point Wednesday that affected dozens of residents, city fire officials reported.
BALTIMORE, MD — A two-alarm fire broke out in Fells Point Wednesday morning, according to authorities. Dozens of nearby residents escaped, the Baltimore City Fire Department reported.
Crews battled the fire at 600 block of South Broadway Street at 6 a.m. and had knocked the bulk of the blaze by 7:15 a.m., officials said. The fire affected rowhouses with businesses below.
Since 6am, BCFD has been on scene of a 2nd Alarm fire in the 600blk of S. Broadway St. No injuries reported, but more than 3 dozen occupants are sheltering in place & dozens more escaped. According to WJZ, the fire was inside Good Burger & Pizza restaurant.

Firefighters were continuing to monitor for hot spots as at least 36 people were inside sheltering in place, according to authorities.
