3 Arrested In Assault At Edmondson-Westside High School: Report
A group allegedly stomped and kicked two staff members after hours at Edmondson-Westside High School.

BALTIMORE, MD — The assistant principal and another staffer were reportedly assaulted this week after school by a group of students and adults at Edmondson-Westside High School in Baltimore.
Violence broke out around 5:30 p.m. on Columbus Day when eight people showed up at Edmondson-Westside, where they kicked and stomped on the assistant principal and assaulted a hall monitor, according to WBAL Radio.
Two people were arrested in connection with the fight, Fox 45 reported, and two staff members received medical attention.

A third person was later arrested, according to WBAL, which reported all those charged in the assault were women.
The group of alleged assailants included one student who was part of a fight earlier in the day at the school, school officials told reporters, and the staff members were recovering in the days following the incident.

It's homecoming week at Edmondson-Westside High School, located in southwestern Baltimore at the intersection of Athol and Edmondson avenues. Following the assault, the head of the institution reportedly said all was fine.
The principal told WBAL Radio on Wednesday that police were dealing with the incident, and the "climate is wonderful" at the school.
