2 MD Millionaires Made Thanks To Lottery Scratch-Offs

Maryland Lottery scratch-off players in Baltimore and Hagerstown became millionaires last week, winning prizes of $2 million and $1 million.

BALTIMORE, MD — Maryland Lottery scratch-off players in Baltimore and Hagerstown became millionaires last week, while two FAST PLAY fans, one each in Clarksburg and District Heights, won six-digit prizes, according to a lottery news release.

The Maryland Lottery paid more than $32.6 million in prizes statewide from Feb. 16-22, including 29 tickets that were worth $10,000 or more.

  • $2 Million Prize: Ace of Spades ticket sold at the Martin’s grocery store at 1729 Dual Highway in Hagerstown
  • $1 Million Prize: All About Cash ticket sold at the Royal Farms store at 7204 York Road in Baltimore. The North Baltimore woman said she plans on investing her prize and will probably spoil herself with a dream vacation to Hawaii.

A $100,000 Big Win ticket sold Feb. 16 at JB Liquors at 5842 Silver Hill Road in District Heights was unclaimed as of Feb. 23.

A $158,107 Chili Pepper Payout progressive jackpot ticket sold Feb. 16 at the Harris Teeter grocery store at 22700 Sweet Shrub Drive in Clarksburg has been claimed.

Winners should sign the backs of tickets and keep winning tickets in a safe location, lottery officials said. Tickets for draw games expire 182 days after the drawing date. FAST PLAY tickets expire 182 days after purchase.

The last dates to claim for scratch-off tickets are posted on the scratch-offs page at mdlottery.com.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.

Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at the cashier window of any of the six casinos in Maryland. Prizes up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets worth up to and including $600.
