MD Adds 20K Coronavirus Cases In One Month: State Health Data
About 900 people have died in the past month from the virus in Maryland and approximately 400 fewer patients are hospitalized, data shows.

MARYLAND — More than 20,000 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Maryland in the past month, according to state health data. There are about 64,300 people with the virus as of Sunday, the Maryland Department of Health reports.
One month ago — on May 21 — there were 43,531 confirmed cases, so Maryland has received 20,769 new positive results in the month since.
