6 Injured When SUV Drives Into Barclay School: Baltimore Fire

BREAKING: Five of those injured in the school building crash were children, according to the Baltimore Fire Department.

BALTIMORE, MD — Six people were injured when an SUV drove into Barclay Elementary/Middle School Friday morning, officials said. Five of the injured were children, and one was an adult, according to the Baltimore City Fire Department.

The crash happened in north Baltimore at the school located at 2900 Barclay Street.

All of the injuries were believed to be non life-threatening, Baltimore fire officials reported before 11:20 a.m.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:40 a.m. when the driver had a medical emergency, according to WBAL.
