The finalist on 'American Idol' from Baltimore has earned high praise from all the judges.

BALTIMORE, MD — "American Idol" finalist Dimitrius Graham is representing his hometown of Baltimore on the hit ABC show. This week he performed "Love Somebody" with Lucas Graham, who joked they should form a boy band called The Grahams.
He wasn't the only one who saw stardom in his future.
"He's the male Beyonce, honestly," judge Katie Perry said of Dimitrius Graham after the duet.

Added Bryan: "You're one of the best singers that I've ever heard, and it's so fun watching you put the equation together and learn on the fly."
Dimitrius Graham will appear this weekend on "American Idol" along with more than a dozen finalists. The public will be invited to vote.
"He was determined to be on 'American Idol' a long time ago," his mom told ABC 2 News when he surprised her at her Windsor Mill home in March to watch the show after not seeing her for a year.
The Baltimore native has had fans cheering him on throughout the series back home, including the leader of the Baltimore Ceasefire movement, Erricka Bridgeford.
"We have been wanting this for him for soooo long," she wrote on Instagram. "Follow and support our Baltimore singer."
"I heard some notes tonight I have never heard come out of your mouth before. That is the way you are supposed to do this show," judge Lionel Richie said during Dimitrius Graham's rendition of Adele's hit song "Hello" in a previous round. "Take it from there, and go to the next level."
Dimitrius Graham is a Morgan State University grad who studied classical music, The Baltimore Sun reported. On "American Idol," his profession is listed as a retail associate. He also has an account on Soundcloud under the name "Thisismeech."
