Baltimore Firefighters Investigate Odor At School
Due to an unusual odor, students at one elementary school in Baltimore have relocated, officials say.
BALTIMORE, MD — Students were shifted around at a Baltimore school Wednesday due to an unusual odor. Officials said they believed the smell was the result of a natural gas leak.
Students at Historic Samuel Coleridge Taylor #122 have been moved to a separate part of the school, according to Baltimore's Office of Emergency Management.
The Baltimore Fire Department's hazardous materials team is working to find the source and stop the leak at the school, emergency officials reported around 1:30 p.m.
