Baltimore Mayor-Elect May Have Been Exposed To Coronavirus
Mayor-Elect Brandon Scott says he has been quarantining since Saturday.

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore's incoming mayor says he has been quarantining after a potential exposure to the coronavirus.
"Since being notified last Saturday of a potential COVID-19 exposure, I have followed the CDC-recommended guidelines to self-quarantine," Mayor-Elect Brandon M. Scott said in a statement Thursday, Dec. 3.
Scott said he has been tested two times for the virus since he learned he was possibly exposed.

"I continue to consult with the Health Commissioner and Health Department daily, and out of an abundance of caution, will continue my quarantine as long as the public health professionals deem it necessary," Scott said Thursday.
Three times before the potential exposure, Scott said he was also tested for the virus.
