There were two snafus at polling places in Baltimore on election day. Polls were forced to close at Patapsco Elementary School in the afternoon, with voters directed to another school nearby in Cherry Hill, due to reported fleas and mice. In north Baltimore, polls opened late because essential equipment was locked in a room, so three precincts were staying open until 9 p.m.
