Previews: Here's a roundup of some previews on what you can expect in this game and what to watch for.

Baltimore Beatdown:

"Tim Williams will register a sack and multiple tackles for a loss. This is no surprise as Williams has been one of the stars of training camp for the Ravens, thus far. He most likely will not be going up against many of Washington’s starters for more than a couple of series, if that. Although, it will still be a good sign to see the rookie out of Alabama shine in his first NFL game. The bottom line is he has impressed many during camp and that will not change on Thursday night."

Ravens Wire:

"After a few questionable practices, (Ryan) Mallett is about to play arguably his most important game of his life. He needs to prove he’s capable of holding not only the backup quarterback job, but the trust of the team as a whole. With starter Joe Flacco still resting with a back injury, Mallett needs to show that he’s the guy and Baltimore shouldn’t feel pressured to bring someone else in. Mallett has had consistent reps with the first team during training camp and with that chemistry, I think he’ll establish his role with the team on Thursday."

Riggo's Rag:
"I would assume that Kirk Cousins is not going to play in the game against the Ravens. If he does, it will likely be able for only a series or two. That means that most of the action in the game will go to Colt McCoy and Nate Sudfeld, with McCoy getting the reps as the top backup. While McCoy may see the early snaps, Sudfeld will be the man to watch."

CSN Mid-Atlantic:
"It's not how you start - Odds are the Redskins and Ravens will play their starters a minimal amount of snaps Thursday night, so guys further down the roster will have the chance to impress coaches. Offensively that means opportunities for guys trying to prove their value in Gruden's pass first system, especially at wide receiver. The coach was particularly vague about when he will pull his top line players, "I told everybody yesterday just get ready to play the game and then I’ll decide on the substitution patter." Pass catchers Jamison Crowder, Josh Doctson and Jordan Reed all will definitely not play, and it's unclear if Maurice Harris will play either. That means more opportunities for Matt Hazel, Zach Pascal, Brian Quick and tight ends Niles Paul, Jeremy Sprinkle and Derek Carrier."
