Baltimore Snow Closures On Wednesday, March 21
BREAKING: Due to winter weather, schools and universities have announced closures on Wednesday in Baltimore City.

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore City Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, March 21, officials said Tuesday night. The school system announced the closure as the region braces for a snowstorm.
While schools are closed in Baltimore for students, the district office will open two hours late, with liberal leave in effect.
All essential employees should report on time, according to Baltimore City Public Schools. Staff members are advised to check their email for reporting instructions.

Baltimore is under a winter storm warning from 2 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, with the National Weather Service calling for 5 to 10 inches of snow during that time.

- Baltimore City Community College closed
- Baltimore City Public Schools closed
- Johns Hopkins University closed; required attendance employees to report
- Morgan State University closed; essential employees report based on direction from supervisor
- University of Baltimore closed and activities canceled; essential personnel must report
Schedule changes for Wednesday, March 21:
- Baltimore trash and recycling collection canceled.
- Charm City Circulator canceled after 1 p.m.
- Enoch Pratt Free Library locations are all closed.
- MARC trains canceled
- Street sweeping is canceled.

"I strongly urge all Marylanders to use common sense, take extreme caution, and avoid travel if possible," Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said in a statement Tuesday evening. "Snow, sleet, and freezing rain falling this evening and overnight could make road conditions treacherous throughout the state...Keep a close eye on your local weather forecast, and check on family, friends, and neighbors and make sure they are safe throughout this late-season storm.”
