Baltimore State's Attorney Tweets, Deletes Voting Booth Pic
State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby caused a stir on Election Day, even though her name was not on the ballot.

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby caused a stir at the polls Tuesday for apparently breaking the law. The city's top prosecutor tweeted a picture of her daughter inside a voting booth.
Technology devices are prohibited in Maryland polling places, so taking cell phone photos of completed ballots in polling places is banned.
In some Baltimore precincts, police were even on hand to ensure voters did not have their phones out.

Within hours of sharing her photo, Mosby had deleted the tweet, which contained the message: "We Voted today #DoYourPartAndDoTheSame #We'reWithHer @HillaryClinton."
Mosby joins the ranks of pop star Justin Timberlake and Eric Trump, son of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, in making a ballot booth blunder.

The controversy comes in an election year when Mosby, who took office in January 2015, is not on the ballot.
