BALTIMORE, MD โ The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Baltimore area. Snow and sleet are expected to cause travel difficulties Sunday into early Monday.
The winter weather advisory is effective from 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, to 4 a.m. on Monday, March 4.
About 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet could accumulate during the advisory period, according to weather officials.

The steadiest precipitation will occur late Sunday afternoon and Sunday night, forecasters say, with a rate of 1 inch per hour possible.
