Baltimore's Classic Five 6th Annual Baltimore Putting Championship Results

Mike Lyons (Adult Division) and Patrick Rowland (Junior Division) earn titles of Baltimore's Best Putter

Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation (BMGC), also known as Baltimore’s Classic Five, is pleased to announce the winners of the sixth annual Baltimore Putting Championship. Earning the titles of Baltimore's Best Putter in their respective age groups, Mike Lyons won the Adult Division and Patrick Rowland won the Junior Division at the Baltimore Putting Championship Finals on Wednesday, June 28.

The runners-up in the Baltimore Putting Championship were Brendan McKinney in the Adult Division, and Colin Vineberg in the Junior Division. In third place were Anrico Curry in the Adult Division and Megan Miguel in the Junior Division.

The three-day-long event ran throughout the end of June, beginning with two qualifying rounds at all of Baltimore’s Classic Five golf courses, including Pine Ridge, Mount Pleasant, Forest Park, Clifton Park and Carroll Park. Finals were held at Mount Pleasant Golf Course. Participants included golfers of all ages and skill levels. All proceeds from the event benefit Baltimore’s Classic Five Junior Golf program, which encourages young golfers to become involved with the game.

Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation (BMGC), the nation’s first nonprofit organization dedicated to the management and operation of municipal golf courses, has served the local golf community for more than 25 years. BMGC operates Baltimore’s Classic Five golf courses, which include Pine Ridge, Mount Pleasant, Forest Park, Clifton and Carroll Park. Municipalities such as New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and others have sought the Classic Five's assistance in designing programs to better manage their respective courses.
