Baltimore's Classic Five to host Summer’s Over Scramble on Feb. 25

Classic Five will host the Summer's Over Scramble golf outing at Clifton Park Golf Course on Saturday, Feb. 25

Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation (BMGC), also known as Baltimore’s Classic Five, will host the third in its series of scramble golf outings this winter, the Summers Over Scramble, on Saturday, February 25, at Clifton Park Golf Course.

The Summer’s Over Scramble will be played using an 18-Hole, 2-Person Scramble format, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. In the 2-person scramble format, both players tee off and then choose to play their next shots from the location of the team’s best shot.

Registration for the Summer’s Over Scramble outing is open. A $100 per team price includes green fees, carts, breakfast, lunch and prizes. Space is limited to the first 50 teams.

The Summer’s Over Scramble will feature Risk Reward Holes and a Texas Hold’em Station. On certain holes, a large circle will be painted on the ground 100 yards from the tee. If any player is able to hit their ball into the circle the team may advance their ball to a designated area marked by the tournament committee. Before the players tee off at Hole No. 1, they will have the option to play the starter in a hand of Texas Hold’em. If the players win, they tee off closer to the pin from a special tee placement.

  • Summer’s Over Scramble: Saturday, February 25 at Clifton Park Golf Course
  • Jack Frost Scramble: Saturday, March 11 at Mount Pleasant Golf Course
  • Superintendent’s Revenge Scramble: Saturday, March 25 at Forest Park Golf Course
