Ben & Jerry's Offering Free Ice Cream At MD Stores: See When

Ben & Jerry's is giving away ice cream next week at scoop shops across Maryland in honor of Free Cone Day, the company said in a statement.

Free Cone Day is Tuesday, April 14, one day before the deadline to file federal income tax returns.

"Every year, we celebrate Free Cone Day at scoop shops around the globe, sharing the love with FREE cups and cones of your favorite Ben & Jerry's flavors," the company said. "It's our way of saying THANK YOU for being the best fans ever."

Ben & Jerry's has several scoop shop locations in Maryland, including in Baltimore, Rockville, Silver Spring and Oxon Hill.

According to Ben & Jerry's, there's no catch and no fine print to cash in on the free cone. All customers need to do is visit their nearest shop to claim their cone.
