Boy, 16, Shot Near Northeast Baltimore School: Police

The shooting happened Wednesday at a gas station near REACH! Partnership School, according to a report.

BALTIMORE, MD — A 16-year-old boy was injured in a shooting at a gas station near REACH! Partnership School in Baltimore on Wednesday, according to police and a report.

Baltimore City police said officers were called to the 2500 block of Harford Road shortly after 3:50 p.m., where they found the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said the boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police said his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Baltimore City Public Schools confirmed to WBAL that the teen was a student at REACH! Partnership School. Police told the station the teen was shot at a gas station across the street. He then went into the school to find help, WBAL reported.

Police are still searching for a suspect.
