Buying Iced Coffee Can Benefit Baltimore Children

Dunkin' Donuts has partnered with the Johns Hopkins Children's Center for a fundraiser May 11 and May 12.

BALTIMORE, MD - From Dunkin' Donuts: Dunkin’ Donuts of the greater Baltimore region will host a two-day Iced Coffee Day fundraiser on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11 to benefit Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.

Beginning Thursday, May 10 through Friday, May 11, $1 from all Large Iced Coffees sold at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the greater Baltimore area will be donated to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. Donations will help support the hospital’s mission to provide patient- and family-centered health care in a diverse and inclusive environment, be a leader in innovative research that leads to prevention and effective treatment of childhood diseases, and to train the next generation of leaders in pediatric medicine.

“We are so grateful to partners like Dunkin’ Donuts that generously donate their time and funds each year to help our patients and their families,” said Cynthia Palacz, Senior Associate Director of Development, Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. “Programs like the Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee Day fundraiser continuously help alleviate the costs for families at our hospitals and have a lasting impact on the lives of our pediatric patients.”

Dunkin’ Donuts of greater Baltimore hosted its first Iced Coffee Day fundraiser benefiting Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in 2016. To date, over $41,000 has been raised from the annual event for the children’s hospital.

“We are humbled to continue our partnership with Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and bring back our Iced Coffee Day fundraiser for yet another year,” said Colleen Krygiel, Integrated Marketing Manager, Dunkin’ Donuts. “Our local Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees are committed to making a lasting impact in the communities they serve, so we are always excited with the success of our Iced Coffee Day program.
