(1973), The Grammy-nominated African American vocal ensemble, SWEET HONEY IN THE ROCK® has thrived as a performance ensemble founded on the missions of empowerment, education, and entertainment. This coming April 25, 2026 will be the official Anniversary for The "Charm'tastic Mile" (10th)&nbsp;and the Majestic &amp; Iconic "Domino Sugars" neon sign (75th).&nbsp;
The "Charm'tastic Mile" (4-25-2016), the scenic 1.3 mile stretch of Dwtn-Charm City, will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary (2016-26) of being introduced to the City of Baltimore. On that same-day it will be the 75th Anniversary (1951-2026) of the "Domino Sugars" neon sign (4-25-1951) introduction to Charm City.&nbsp;
From two of the 3&nbsp; Iconic "Charm'tastic Mile" street signs (Inner Harbor &amp; Harbor East) you can see the "Domino Sugars" neon sign, at S. Calvert &amp; Pratt Street and at S. President &amp; Fleet Street.
The "Domino Sugars" neon sign went under restoration 5-years ago, now one of Baltimore's most symbolic symbols will soon be turning 75 during the 250th Anniversary (1776-2026)&nbsp;of the Declaration of Independence (July 4th). April 25th will go down as a very historical day in the archives of Baltimore History.&nbsp;
