President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of he Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting the Ravens (3-5) vs Vikings (4-4) showdown this Sunday has an additional cool cultural twist or roll of the dice.

Week 10 of the NFL schedule will have the intriguing matchup between the Baltimore Ravens vs Minnesota Vikings. When these two franchises meet one-another it's the NFL "Rock The Purple" Bowl. Both teams' brand/mascot-themes are highlighted by the color purple. There's a lot on the line for the Ravens & Vikings, a potential trip to the playoffs for the winner and, well let's talk about 2026 for the loser.

Minnesota Vikings (Est. 1961) football goes back to the old NFL before the merger with the AFL in 1970. The merger was initially announced in 1966. Old Baltimore football (Colts) were one of the 16 NFL teams that merged with the 10 AFL teams that gave you the 26 team league in 1970. Baltimore hosted the 1st AFC Championship Game on January 3, 1971 when the Colts defeated the Oakland Raiders 27-17 at old Memorial Stadium.

2025 is the Ravens 30th Anniversary (1996-2025) season in Charm City. The Purple & Black have a winning tradition with a 271-204-1 all-time record with 2 Super Bowl titles (35, 47). The Vikings are a proud franchise with a 541-442-11 record all-time. Sunday will be their 995th regular-season game. 1995 was the last-season for the old Cleveland Browns before they moved to Baltimore to become the Ravens.

The Iconic game board MONOPOLY is celebrating its 90th Anniversary-year. Top Trumps USA in association with Hasbro this past Summer (August 14th) released the Saint Paul-Edition MONOPOLY Board. Here in Baltimore on October 24th the Baltimore-Edition MONOPOLY was launched.

It was 71-days between the St. Paul-Edition & Baltimore-Edition release dates. '71 the 1st AFC Championship was played in Baltimore, 4-years later in 1975 Baltimore was coined Charm City. 2025 marks the 50th Anniversary (1975-2025) of the Charm City nickname with the celebration of "Charm City 50".

January 12, 1975 the Vikings lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 16-6, Super Bowl IX (9). 6-years earlier on January 12, 1969 the mighty Baltimore Colts lost to the NY Jets 16-7, Super Bowl III. This was the game that solidified the AFC/NFC merger.
